When will YOU get started???

In their song, Time, Pink Floyd says:

“And then one day you’ll find, ten years have got behind you,
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.”

As someone who is closer to the end than the beginning (unless I live to 140!) I can attest to the fact that it’s MUCH easier to put things off…to think about something and say to myself, “That’s a good idea. I should work on it,” only to have it be ONE MORE THING that never got done.

I KNEW I should create on-demand training programs a decade ago. Only released them a few months ago. I KNEW, a decade ago, I should create an affordable group coaching community, Only got that going this past January. I suspected I should go into stand-up comedy a long time ago, only started 2.5 years ago.

What do YOU know you should be doing, but think, “I’ll get around to it.”

Time is the one thing you can never get back. The clock is ticking every day. When would NOW be a good time to:

*Touch base with your networking partners to strengthen those relationships and stay top of mind with them?
*Create a nurture campaign (using marketing automation) to build a relationship with prospects you met with but weren’t ready to buy?
*Read a book, attend a seminar, watch YouTube videos to increase your level of skill and put new sales tools in your arsenal?
*Prospect with both consistency and effectiveness?
*REALLY earn the annual income you KNOW you’re capable of, but haven’t been able to so far?

It’s easy to look back and say, “I should have…” It’s harder to take action. But it’s typically the things that ARE harder that bring us the greatest results. You have to put in the effort to reap the rewards.

Don’t be in the position to have to say, “Any then one day I found ten years had got behind me and I was still just getting by.”

GET GOING….the clock is ticking.
