Concerned About the Economy???

A LOT of people are anxious…concerned about the economy, inflation, tariffs, stock market, etc. Here’s my advice for salespeople:

PAY NO ATTENTION TO ANY OF THAT NOISE

If you love and support what our president is doing that’s great. You’re entitled to your opinion. If you despise and want to see him gone that’s fine too. You’re entitled to your opinion. Neither of those are going to pay your rent or mortgage.

Ignore the chaos that’s going on right now and focus on the fundamentals:

1) Prospect consistently and effectively
2) Use a proven system for selling and don’t skip steps
3) Ask questions and LISTEN to your prospects rather than “pitch”
4) Make prospects feel SAFE
5) Follow-up
6) Stay focused on serving your market

Some people/organizations are nervous and are, “going to sit tight until things even out, one way or the other,” but there are other who need what you offer RIGHT NOW. Find your people/market. I’m telling you, they’re out there waiting for you.
