Welcome to Q4!
Good morning, and welcome to the last quarter of 2024!
I’m assuming your year has been going great and that you are at least 3/4 of the way to your annual goal. Well done.
You’ve been prospecting consistently and effectively all year, and have a full pipeline of deals you’re working on which will close in the next 90 days.
You have plenty of first meetings with prospects scheduled on your calendar to end the year right and start off 2025 with a bang.
You KNOW that you’ll achieve, or exceed, your goal by December 31, 2024.
WELL DONE!!
If any of the above is NOT true for you the question is: What are you going to do about it???
Here are some options:
1) Bitch and moan about the economy, the bad leads your company gives you, the idiot prospects who keep ghosting you, etc. Bitch, bitch, bitch. (There’s always someone who will listen and agree with you)(They’ll be broke too)
2) Watch CNN or Fox all day and worry about whether Trump will be re-elected, or if Harris will be elected (depending on which side of the aisle you’re on).
3) Stare at the phone, waiting for it to ring.
4) TAKE ACTION NOW
Whining and worrying aren’t going to get you anywhere.
The leads suck? Develop better leads.
The economy is bad? Not according to all the economic indicators, but even if it IS, so what? Sell something anyway. The bank doesn’t care about it when you say, “I had a slow couple of months due to the bad economy.” They’ll foreclose on your house and repossess your car.
Trump will get back in and ruin Democracy? Harris will win and ruin Democracy? No matter which one becomes the next U.S. POTUS, you will still need to eat. Stay informed, and on November 5th vote for the candidate of your choice…but neither of them is going to close business for you.
Stop whining and get busy. Can you still hit your goal if you’re not on the way to doing so now? I don’t know, but I know that if you don’t take action now, at the end of this year you’ll have great excuses and no money.
Salespeople either have excuses or closed business.
Which do you choose?
