IT’S NOVEMBER – TWO MONTHS LEFT IN 2026. ARE YOU GOING TO HIT YOUR FINANCIAL GOAL???

Let’s talk about something that makes a lot of salespeople and business owners uncomfortable.
You set a financial goal back in January. You were excited. Motivated. Determined.
And now it’s November, and you’re looking at your numbers thinking, “There’s no way I’m going to hit my goal.”
**Here’s my advice: SO WHAT?**
Seriously.
You can’t change what happened during the first 10 months of the year. But you CAN control what you do during the next two.
And what you do NOW can make a HUGE difference in how you finish 2026 and how successfully you start 2027.
Here are 7 things I recommend:
**STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP**
Missing a goal doesn’t make you a failure. Giving up because you’re going to miss it? That’s a different story. Analyze, learn from what didn’t work, and move forward.
**GET REAL ABOUT YOUR NUMBERS**
How much revenue have you generated? What’s in your pipeline? What’s realistically closable before December 31st? Stop guessing and start calculating.
**RECONNECT WITH EVERY OPEN OPPORTUNITY**
That prospect who went quiet in April? Call them. That proposal you sent in September? Follow up. That person who said, “Call me toward the end of the year”? Guess what? IT’S THE
END OF THE YEAR!
**DOUBLE DOWN ON REVENUE-GENERATING ACTIVITIES**
Not redesigning your website. Not organizing your desk. Not spending 3 hours choosing the perfect font for your next LinkedIn post. I’m talking about prospecting, conversations, follow-ups, referrals, and asking for the business.
**ASK FOR REFERRALS**
Your happiest clients already know the value you provide. Who do they know who could benefit from working with you? ASK! Referrals can be one of the fastest ways to create new opportunities.
**BUILD YOUR 2027 PIPELINE NOW**
Not everyone you speak with in November will buy in Nov/Dec. That’s fine! Every quality conversation you have today can become revenue in January, February, or March. Don’t wait until January to start prospecting for next year.
**CREATE A WRITTEN PLAN AND GET ACCOUNTABLE**
Set specific activity goals for November and December. How many new dials? Emails? Door knocks? Follow-ups? Track your activity EVERY WEEK. Find someone who will hold your feet to the fire.
**HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE**
You might not hit your original 2026 financial goal.
But there’s a BIG difference between missing your goal and giving up on your goal.
Finish as strong as you possibly can. Build momentum. Fill your pipeline.
And head into January 2027 running instead of starting from a dead stop.
**Remember: HOPE IS NOT A STRATEGY!** And if you need it, invest in yourself with some sales confidence training.
You need a plan. You need action. You need ACCOUNTABILITY. And you need consistency. MAKE IT HAPPEN!
