Welcome to 2024!!

Did you party on New Year’s Eve? No matter how you celebrated, welcome to the new year. A new year = new opportunities. Here are some thoughts to help you make 2024 your most successful year so far!

• If you haven’t already set a financial goal for yourself, NOW is the time to do it. Make it a reach, but do-able. Write it down and post it somewhere you can see it all the time. What we focus on consistently, and take massive action towards, tends to be attracted into our lives.
• Visualize success. Invest a few minutes every day with your eyes closed, seeing the picture of yourself at the end of this year having achieved or exceeded your goal. How will it feel? What will you be wearing? Who will you be with? Who will be cheering you on?
• Create your plan. If you haven’t already done so, NOW is the time to write out your prospecting plan for this year. What types of outreach will you do to make certain you meet with enough qualified prospects? How much of each type will you do? When? How often? Write it down and follow the plan. Experiment with different messaging, email subject lines, cold/warm call scripts. Track the results. Keep what works and discard or improve the rest.
• Find an Accountability Partner. If you don’t already have one, get one NOW. Set a time to meet once a week for 10 minutes (more is fine, but this doesn’t have to be a long meeting). Make promises to each other and hold each other accountable on the next call. Applaud each other when you keep your word, kick each other’s butt if you don’t. We all need someone in our lives to help us stay accountable to the activities we need to do to reach our goal at the end of the year.
• While you have an entire year ahead of you to achieve or exceed your goal, realize that time FLIES. Before you know it, we’ll be wishing each other Happy New Year for 2025. Make the most of every day and keep your foot on the gas. Theirs is no cruising when it comes to goal achievement. You should be either running full out, or taking a break to relax and recharge…no coasting!
